About this Esports Tournament Watch template

On a busy esports weekend, the broadcasts you want are often on at the same time. This template opens three official game channels together in Cinema layout, so one broadcast is large and the other two sit beside it. You can follow all three, and move your attention to whichever has the match you care about.

The channels are links to channels, not to particular broadcasts. That keeps the template valid over time, but it also means StreamTiles can't tell you which of them is broadcasting right now, or what is on. A channel that isn't broadcasting shows Twitch's offline screen; swap it out for one that is.

Every channel here is a third-party Twitch channel, shown through Twitch's embedded player. StreamTiles doesn't produce, host, own or control any of the video. Your own StreamTiles grid is separate from this template, so opening it doesn't change the streams you have saved.

Making it your own

Open the template, then use Add stream to paste any other Twitch channel link, such as the channel of a specific tournament organizer or a commentary stream, or a YouTube live link. The grid holds up to six streams in total, and the template itself is never changed by what you add.

Each tile starts muted. Unmute the one you want to hear, or turn on Audio focus in Settings so StreamTiles mutes the others whenever you unmute one.

How the layout is organized

The three channels open in Cinema layout: the first (Riot Games) is the large tile and the other two sit beside it. To make a different channel the large one, switch to Grid, drag it to the first position, then switch back to Cinema.

Who may find it useful

  • Following more than one esports broadcast on a day when several are on air.
  • Keeping a main broadcast large while two others stay visible beside it.
  • Starting from a ready-made grid of official game channels and replacing tiles with the channels you actually follow.

The channels in this template are hosted by Twitch and published by third parties. StreamTiles is an independent viewing interface and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch, Riot Games, Psyonix, Epic Games or any other channel owner. A channel can be offline, renamed or removed, or its owner can restrict embedding, at any time — see Third-Party Content.

When you open it

  1. All three streams load together

The three configured Twitch streams open in the Cinema layout. They start muted, so you choose what to hear.

  2. Each stream has its own controls

Mute, volume, play/pause and fullscreen work per stream, alongside play-all, pause-all and mute-all.

  3. You can adjust it for this visit

Change the layout, reorder tiles, remove a stream or add your own link (up to six in total). These changes are not saved, so reopening the template restores the original set.

  4. Your own grid stays untouched

A template never replaces or overwrites the streams in your regular StreamTiles workspace.

Questions about this template

Is anything live in this template right now?

StreamTiles can't say. The template links to channels, and a channel only has video while it is broadcasting. A tile for a channel that isn't broadcasting shows Twitch's offline screen.

Can I use channels for a specific tournament?

Yes. Use Add stream to paste the Twitch channel link for the tournament or organizer you want to watch, or remove a tile you don't need. Whether a particular channel can be embedded is up to Twitch and the channel's owner.

Why does a Twitch tile have its controls underneath?

Twitch requires its player to be shown without anything covering it, so StreamTiles places a Twitch tile's mute and volume controls in a strip beneath the player.
